The Longest race in the west on the longest day of the year...
The Northern Alberta Sport Car Club is proud to present in conjunction with “TBA”
“The First annual LEDUC 1000”
June 21 2014 (subject to change)
The challenge: This will be a 1000km endurance race on Castrol Raceway’s 2.7km road course
The race starts at 9am sharp
The race is over when the first car reaches the 370th lap AKA 1000km all laps count including FC yellow.
Thus no set time limit, estimates of 9-11 hours for the winner
No min pit stop time do your stops as fast as you can!
Tires are open
This event is open to all closed wheel race cars from ITJ to GT1. These cars will run in 3-5 performance groups based on HP and Weight and historic Lap times. All classes will run together at the same time. Classes will be set by the NASCC officials
All standard WCMA racing rules apply
Trophies and cash prizes to the top 3 in each group
BBQ and social party after the race
Teams can have 2-5 drivers
Price per team aprox. $750
This will be a hot pit event with Over the Wall stops. OTW crews must be in full driving gear

First 60 teams secure a spot on the hot pits
All drivers must have a WCMA road racing licence there will be a school in May 2014 where this may be obtained.
Move in will be Friday night!
