In the pits however, was anything but calm. The pit stalls were tightly grouped, and as a result the chumper would be facing towards the pit wall instead of being parallel. It will be a balancing act between coordinating with our neigbours and being safe.

It also didn't help that we were pitted on an incline.

Kidding aside, while fueling only a driver change is permitted until the gas door is closed.

Fueling was another issue, the new fuel jugs that were suppose to save time was doing the opposite - we were taking on average, four and a half minutes to complete fueling.

This is our final big pit stop, as we allocated 15 minutes and left the pits in 13 minutes.

• Fuel + Driver change
• Change tires
• Change brake pads
• Release oil

Kelsey was the hero of the day - released hot oil not once but twice from the oil pan as it was overfilled by accident.
