Thirty-three hours into the race, in fourth position overall...

Poor tires and wheels...
Our heart breaking story, in the final stretches of the race. Another chumper, "My Little pony" , collided and forced Dom off track and into the rocky fields.
The only pit crew's on hand was Soyan, Sherisse, and myself; during this time we just started a pit rotation, it would be difficult calling anyone back in time.
Minutes later, Dom comes into the pits and we asses the damage:
- The right side of the under carriage has been dragged through rocks.
- The left side is only slightly better
- The right side wheels contacted rocks and boulders
- Tires on the right side have suffered multiple punctures
- Unknown if the hub and axle is damage
- alignment issues
- Front right side of the bumper is damage
- grass, dirty, and rocks, are sticking out in many places where there shouldn't be
The good news is that there are no apparent leaks and mostly just battle scars...
The heroes of the day are the ladies, Soyan, and Sherisse, who changed tires while I was checking over the car.
Four minutes later, Dom is back on the track only losing one position.
Kevin takes the checkered flag, we finished in fifth position completing 1,021 laps of 1,045 laps.
